  • Minimum of 5 GCE/CXC passes including Mathematics and English Language.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork, professionalism and interpersonal skills.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Ability to adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of the operations of an office environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous work experience would be an advantage.
  • Comparable combinations of experience and academic qualifications.


  • Records, sorts and directs incoming mail.

  • Answer telephone calls and provides routine information, takes messages or directs calls appropriately.

  • Operate office equipment and performs clerical duties such as filing and photocopying to help ensure efficiency and organization in the department.

  • Assists in the maintenance of records and other related documents.

  • Assists with data entry (computerized or manual) where relevant.

  • Delivers internal mail when required.

  • Performs other clerical and related tasks as requested by the Supervisor/Manager.
