Job Summary:

To be responsible for supervision and efficient operation of all Departments in conjunction with department heads. To ensure that the guest receive the highest level of service and attention in all areas of the hotel. Responsible for the management of in-house groups once they have been contracted. Offers deliberate direction to leadership that is established from analysis. They are accountable for guiding a group of employees to enhance the eminence, the loyalty of customers, production and overall operations.

  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with all resort and departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Be familiar with all resort services and amenities and local to Tobago and regional attractions and activities.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas and resort public areas.
  • Oversee total guest welcome service, starting with pre-arrival contact, reception, and arrival to the resorts, throughout stay, departure from the resorts and post-departure contact where necessary.
  • Work Cooperatively with Front Office/ Food and Beverage Supervisors in delivering the highest quality guest services to guests and visitors of the resort whether in-house or otherwise.
  • Be visible and accessible to guests at all times, unless actively performing functions away from reception area elsewhere in the resort.
  • Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest’s needs, and respond to guest inquiries and comments while maintaining positive guest relations at all times. Ensuring that all guests are greeted cheerfully as they enter and assisting with any check-in.
  • Follow up with designated resort personnel to ensure completion of request, and with guest to ensure satisfaction with solution.
  • Maintain Expert knowledge of all services provided by the resort and how to suggest, promote and arrange utilization of those services to maximize resort revenue and guest satisfaction.
  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. Own the Problem!!
