The incumbent in this position provides administrative support to the Secretary and the Board of Directors of the GTCIC.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the Board of Directors.
  • Attend meetings, events and forums to assist as required.
  • Recording of minutes at board meetings and distribute accordingly to Board Members.
  • Distribute approved correspondence and follow-up as required via email or telephone.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Assist with coordinating special projects and events as directed by the President.

Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Business Management or any other related field; or any other equivalent qualification and two years administrative experience.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Self-management and ability to carry out tasks independently.
  • Ability to take initiative and multi-task.
  • Ability to function in a technology-prevalent environment, utilizing computers and a variety of software as a work tool.
  • Ability to prepare presentations and reports.
