We are not looking for someone that can just post content, we are looking for someone that can also analyse, plan, report and accomplish objectives. The successful candidate will be managing several accounts in varying degrees and will need to have significant experience on the major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest, etc). He or she will be working alongside a creative team that will create most of the visual content.

The incumbent in this position provides administrative support to the Secretary and the Board of Directors of the GTCIC.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the Board of Directors.
  • Attend meetings, events and forums to assist as required.
  • Recording of minutes at board meetings and distribute accordingly to Board Members.
  • Distribute approved correspondence and follow-up as required via email or telephone.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Assist with coordinating special projects and events as directed by the President.

  • Associate Degree in Business Management or any other related field; or any other equivalent qualification and two years administrative experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to take initiative and multi-task.
  • Ability to function in a technology-prevalent environment, utilizing computers and a variety of software as a work tool.

Entry Requirements:
  • At least three years of experience working as a Graphic Designer.
  • In-depth working knowledge of Adobe Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Motion Graphic skills with Adobe After Effects will be an asset.
