Refund & Dispute Resolution Policy

At Skillfindertt.com (“Skillfinder”, “we”, “our”, “us”), we value transparency and fairness in all transactions between Employers and Freelancers. This Refund & Dispute Resolution Policy outlines how payment disputes are handled.

1. Payments on the Platform

  • All payments between Employers and Freelancers should be processed through the Skillfinder Platform.
  • Service fees and commissions charged by Skillfinder TT are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

2. Refund Requests

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • Duplicate payment or processing error.
  • Employer paid but Freelancer did not deliver agreed work.
  • Fraudulent activity confirmed by Skillfinder.

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • Work was delivered as agreed.
  • The Employer changes their mind after work begins.
  • Issues are due to miscommunication outside the Platform.

3. Dispute Resolution Process

  • Step 1: The Employer and Freelancer should attempt to resolve the matter directly through the Platform’s messaging system.
  • Step 2: If unresolved, either party may submit a dispute request to Skillfinder within 7 days of payment release.
  • Step 3: Skillfinder may request supporting evidence (messages, files, contracts).
  • Step 4: After review, Skillfinder will make a fair decision. Our decision is final and binding.

4. Payout Holds

Skillfinder reserves the right to temporarily hold funds in dispute until the matter is resolved.
